Nash County Recreation & Senior Services is holding registration for youth T-ball, baseball, softball, soccer and flag football through July 31.

The T-ball program will have two divisions: minor T-ball for ages 3-4 and major T-ball for ages 5-6. For players participating in the major division, each child will be awarded three pitches from the coach. If they are unsuccessful at making contact after the first three pitches, the batting tee will be brought into play. Player eligibility is as of Jan. 1, 2020.

The youth baseball and softball program will be offered for players ages 7-15. The programs will be split into four leagues — 8U softball machine pitch and 8U machine pitch baseball, 10U, 12U and 15U. Player eligibility for softball is as of Jan. 1, 2020 and May 1, 2020 for baseball.

Youth spring soccer will be offered boys and girls ages 3-15 as of Aug. 1, 2019. Each age group will be separated by gender depending on participation numbers. Organizers say the sport is an enjoyable source of exercise and an excellent place for participants to socialize with others of similar age.

The registration fee for all sports will be $35. Parents can register their children online at nashcounty.recdesk.com/community or they can go to the Nash County Recreation & Senior Services office on the third floor of the county administrative building in downtown Nashville.
