Cloudy, wet and relatively cool weather is forecast for The Wilson Times area through Thursday.

Shower chances stay at 80% except for briefly dropping to 40% late Tuesday afternoon and evening. A thunderstorm risk occurs mainly Tuesday and Thursday.

High temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will likely not escape the mid-60s, and only edge up to the low 70s on Thursday.

Damp winds from the east-northeast should switch to the south Friday. That would result in partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures, probably around 80. Rain chances back off to 50%.

The weekend outlook is better. Under mostly sunny skies with a 30% chance of a passing shower, highs are forecast to reach the low 80s.
