Cool temperatures and a bright sun are expected to begin the weekend in the Wilson Times area.
After waking up to the upper 40s near sunrise, highs should reach 70. Winds will be light from the north.
With some cloudiness moving in overnight, lows will likely hold around 50. That cloudiness will increase Sunday and hold highs in the mid- to upper 60s.
A low pressure system off of the North Carolina coast may back up just enough to spread showers toward us late in the day, but probabilities are only 25%.
Sunday and Monday are forecast to be sunny with high temperatures in the low 70s.
