Nash coronavirus cases climb

NASHVILLE — Nash County COVID-19 cases are on a steady climb with no deaths reported in the last week.

As of Monday afternoon, Nash County has seen a total of 3,838 cases with 2,111 people recovered.

Of those infected, 1,616 people remain isolated at home and 32 people are hospitalized. Seventy-nine people have died, according to information from the Nash County Health Department.

Statewide, more than 2,000 new cases of coronavirus have been reported for the past six days in a row, according to statistics provided by the N.C. Department of Health and Human Resources.

The state’s total number of cases is now more than 293,000 with more than 4,600 deaths.
