Northern Nash High School has appointed Joey Keefe, who currently serve as the school’s athletic director, as Northern Nash’s varsity head baseball coach.

“In our search for the next leader of our baseball program, we were looking for someone with a vision that would lead our program with character, dedication and the leadership skills that would create and sustain a sense of pride among our student athletes at Northern Nash High School,” Principal Brian Hopkins said. “We were fortunate to have found such an individual internally.”

Hopkins added: “Coach Keefe has developed numerous positive working relationships with our students, families and staff and will bring an energy to the program, which will ignite a competitive atmosphere. We are very appreciative and grateful for the previous leadership and dedication provided to the baseball program by Coach Bard Collins.”
