ROCKY MOUNT — Registration for Your Choice Pregnancy Resource Center’s annual Celebrate Life fundraising banquet is due Feb. 19.

The banquet, which commemorates 30 years of community service with a night of stories recognizing “everyday heroes for life,” is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Englewood Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Doors open at 6:30.

“For 30 years, an army of everyday heroes from our community has lovingly served women, men and families who are in crisis due to an unplanned pregnancy,” the organization said in a news release. “These heroes have and continue to offer help and hope without judgement. The banquet will feature testimonies of God’s power and redemption from staff, volunteers and clients. The night will also feature a silent auction of original artwork donated by Nash Correctional Institute’s Art Club.”

Funds raised at the Celebrate Life banquet are used to provide a variety of free services, including pregnancy testing; medically referenced education about pregnancy, abortion and sexual health; STD screening for chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV and syphilis; limited ultrasound; fatherhood classes; material support; abstinence education; post-abortion support; and adoption information and referrals.

Your Choice Pregnancy Resource Center does not offer or refer for abortions.

A $20 fee covers the meal and additional pledges are welcome. All contributions are tax-deductible.
