Police have charged a Louisburg man in a string of Spring Hope business break-ins.
An officer noticed several windows broken at an unspecified business around 4:30 a.m. June 8, according to a Spring Hope Police Department news release. The officer entered the building and found 33-year-old Lewis Ray Hinnant of Louisburg inside.
Police said further investigation tied Hinnant to Spring Hope commercial break-ins dating to November 2018.
Hinnant faces 18 charges in the case; six counts each of felony breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking and/or entering and causing damage to personal property.
Hinnant was booked into the Nash County Detention Center in Nashville under a $75,000 secured bond.
